What documentation required for Turkey mortgages?
Turkey mortgage lenders request full documentation proving that the applicants can afford the Turkish mortgage repayments, and therefore you will be required to submit a significant number of supporting documents. How much can I borrow?
The mortgage amount you will be able to borrow will of course depend on your financial situation and financial capacity. In addition, the conditions applied by the banks will have to be complied with.
The mortgage amount for a Turkish property is capped at 70% or 90 %.( depends on the Turkey property mortgage product) of the execution value of the Turkish property. The minimum amount of the mortgage loan is € 25.000. -(or equivalent in other major currencies).
How long does an application take to complete?
Mortgage applications for Turkey purchases generally take 3-4 weeks for the mortgage approval stage. However, completion of the purchase may take up to 3 months due to military clearance application and other searches on the property.
