Turkish Property Mortgage

Mr & Mrs Martin were looking to buy a holiday property in Turkey. They have seen a property in an up and coming area in Turkey on the internet, and would like to find out how much they can borrow from a Turkish mortgage lender before they make their travel plans for an inspection trip...

Mr & Mrs Martin decided that they needed some expert help and got in touch with Turkey Property Mortgages.

One of the qualified mortgage advisors arranged for a convenient time:

  • To go through the details of the buying process, highlighting the key points to consider when dealing with  mortgage lenders in Turkey, the Turkish property market and developers, and Turkish property law.
  • To calculate  how much they could borrow based on their basic incomings and outgoings, and
  • To advise on the most favorable Turkey mortgage product to suit their needs.

This service was free of charge and Mr and Mrs Martin didn’t have to provide any documents at this stage.

Mr & Mrs Martin were overjoyed to find out that they could afford the property that they were looking to buy in Turkey, and decided to arrange an inspection trip.

They fell in love with the property and location and as they were very happy with the service they received from Turkey Property Mortgages, they contacted the advisor on their return from Turkey. They were asked to provide their supporting documents for the Turkish mortgage application process.  TPM’s advisor assessed the documents and submitted the completed application form along with the Turkish property documents to the lender’s underwriters.

Turkey Property Mortgages took care of all the necessary paper work and communication between lender, seller and the legal advisor for a quick and smooth process.

When the loan was approved, a survey was arranged, and the lender carried out a valuation and made the relevant searches on the property in Turkey.

Mr  & Mrs Martin eventually signed the mortgage contract for the amount of £41,300 and bought their dream holiday home in the sun for the price of £59,000. They now repay just  £255 a month for the mortgage.
